Recycling may seem like a lot of work, but actually it is worth it. Most of the ribbons that are recycled yield a 30 to 45% gross profit and at the same item provide your customer with a 40 to 50% savings. Recycled ribbon are reloaded with high quality nylon and usually have the same character yield as a new ribbon.

The only parts of a ribbon that are recycled are the plastic ones! In most cases, your used ribbon will either be respooled with new nylon for a spool ribbon, reloaded with new nylon or film for a cartridge ribbon, or reinked for a wideline ribbon.
